MEMPHIS, TN – The trial has started in the court case of Tabitha Gentry.

Gentry is best known for squatting in a vacant multimillion dollar East Memphis mansion back in 2013.
She claims United States laws do not apply to her because she's a member of the Moorish National Republic. Gentry is already serving a 14 year sentence for assaulting two police officers back in 2012.
