North Carolina police officer Randall Kerrick was indicted on charges of voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of 24-year-old Jonathan Ferrell. Kerrick fired 12 shots at Ferrell, striking him 10 times. Ferrell had crashed his vehicle and knocked on the door at 2:30am of woman who thought he was trying to gain entry, she called 911. Kerrick fatally shot Ferrell when a Taser fired by another officer failed to stop him from approaching.
