It's been a back-and-forth tussle, but the sexual assault case against ex-Detroit Tigers pitcher Evan Reed is back on course to go to trial. Reed, who is no longer with the Tigers organization, is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct stemming from allegations that he had non-consensual sex with a 45-year-old woman at Detroit's Motor City Casino after a night of drinking alcohol at Royal Oak bars in late late March of 2014. Reed was sentenced to probation after plea in the assault case.
