Dylann Roof, suspected of killing nine people at an African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina on June 17, was arrested the next morning about three hours away near Shelby, North Carolina.

 

The 21-year-old spent an hour in a prayer meeting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Wednesday night before he opened fire. A suriving witness reported the shooter said, "You are raping our women and taking over the country.”
