Daquan Butts Trial Archive

SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL) - A panel of six jurors and one alternate has been selected in the trial of Daquan Butts accused of accidentally shooting ten-year-old Jeremiah Taylor and Kentall Clark, a man that Butts is accused of having fought with before the shots were fired, in Sanford in September 2014. Authorities, including the Sanford Police and U.S. Marshals, spent more than a week searching for Butts after the shooting. Butts has been in the Seminole County Jail since his arrest, without bond.
